Exhaust

Manufacturers

Note:  A listing here does not constitute a personal endorsement by me or by Vstar1100.com, unless specifically stated as such.  That doesn't mean anything negative about a manufacturer, I just have no first-hand knowledge (or knowledge of people I trust) of their products.  Manufacturers can email me to have their products reviewed.

Here are a couple of links to manufacturers of slip-on mufflers and full exhaust systems for V-Star 1100's...

Modifications/tips

Please only submit your own information.  It is not cool to copy something off someone's website or forum and send it to me (without the author's permission).  Send me a link instead.

Note:  The following exhaust mods may not work or will require extra steps for later model bikes!  Proceed at your own risk!

Jack Garrett sent us the following tip:  "We just completed the modification that was listed for a 2006 1100 Vstar on a 2007 model. Everything went fine except there is a third piece of metal that you must drill through with the 2 1/4 inch hole saw before you can get any movement out of the baffle. That is no joke about smacking the daylights out of the baffle as it is expanded or flared on the back side where there is no access. Thanks for a job well done on the modification. It also works on 2007's as well."  (He's referring to this article.)
